Nice to meet you!

I’m Virginie, a UX designer with over 8 years experience in building digital products and experiences.

Originally from France, my journey began during my master’s studies, when I moved to Berlin to work as an intern in product management, at elopage. The company was then really small, and I started to gain a variety of knowledge and experiences in product development processes, market research, data analysis and Agile methodologies that were crucial for me as a beginner in this field.

At the end of my internship, I was then hired as a product manager in the same company, and continued to gather experience. I worked on and started leading numerous projects, coordinating teams and delivering digital products and experiences, all the while developing know-how in market understanding, product strategy and stakeholders management and acquiring more skills in how to oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch. I learnt about agile methodologies, project management practices, and collaboration tools to ensure that projects stayed on track and met deadlines.

During this time, I worked very closely with designers and developers, and learned about how designers approach problems and create solutions with empathy for users, how to emphasize the importance of user experience and how design decisions impact usability, and then how to translate those designs into development processes, coding languages, and technical constraints to facilitate effective collaboration. 

I became really passionate about understanding users' needs, solving complex problems creatively, and advocating for user-centric design, and made it a goal to have a positive impact on users' lives by offering intuitive digital experiences.

I decided to make the switch into UI/UX design by participating in a 6-months bootcamp, where I created my very first project and gained relevant skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
